Aromantic lesbian, Robbie McNeil, and her queerplatonic partner Dee own a karaoke bar together, make music, and work as contract killers. There’s no one Robbie trusts more in the world, and in seven years together, they have always been their most honest selves with one another.

When Dee is framed for murder and his alibi is that he was busy killing a different person, Robbie is determined to help Dee, but she’s met with unexpected resistance from Dee, who refuses to tell her how secrets from his past connect with the case. With the police building an increasingly convincing case against Dee, Robbie must find out what Dee’s been hiding and get him off the hook—whether that means finding the real killer or convincingly framing someone else.
